一、学科简介 (Disciplines Instruction)
经过多年来的不断建设和发展,数理学院数学学科整体实力不断增强,于2011年3月成功获批为硕士学位授权一级学科。目前本学科在师资队伍、教学、科研、人才培养等方面已形成自己的特色,若干研究领域的科研成果已经达到国内领先或先进水平。
After many years of continual construction and development, the comprehensive strength of the mathematics discipline of Mathematics and Physics College constantly increased and successfully been granted a master first-grade discipline in March 2011. At present this subject has formed its own characteristics in teacher team, teaching, research and training. Some achievement in some research fields has reached the domestic leading or advanced level.
数学系下设应用数学、应用统计、信息与计算、数学建模和公共数学5个教研室。数学学科目前共有在编教师31人,其中教授4人,副教授13人。具有博士学位的教师30名,担任硕士生导师的16人。拥有一批国内知名的中青年专家和学术骨干,现已形成了一支学科特色鲜明、结构合理、科研实力雄厚的学科团队。
Department of Mathematics consists of five departments such as applied mathematic, Applied Statistics, Information and computational mathematic, Mathematical modeling, and Public mathematics. At present, there are 31 teachers, which include 4 professors, 13 associate professors in mathematics discipline. There are 30 teachers who have the doctor’s degrees, 16 teachers who have been the Master Instructor. It has a group of famous young experts and well-known academic backbones. Now it has formed a discipline team with clear subject characteristic, reasonable structure and strong scientific research capacity.
本学科硕士点设置于2003年。目前研究方向主要包括:基础数学、应用数学、计算数学。
The master degree program of this discipline was granted in 2003. Currently, the research fields mainly include Fundamental Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, and Computational Mathematics.
本学科团队具备较强的科研实力和水平,科研成果丰硕。近五年来,在《中国科学》、《中国软科学》、《数学学报》、《Neuro computing》等高水平期刊上共发表学术论文300多篇,被SCI、EI、ISTP等收录100余篇,并获得省高等学校优秀科研成果奖、省高等学校科学技术奖等各种学术奖励4项。近五年来,该学科团队共获批国家自然基金、省自然基金等科研项目40余项。
The discipline team has strong research capabilities and achieved fruitful achievements. In the past five years, the team published more than 300 academic articles in the ‘Science in China’, ‘China Soft Science Magazine’, ‘Acta Mathematica Sinica’, ‘Neuro computing’ and other high-level academic journals etc. More than 100 articles have been embodied by SCI, EI and ISTP. It has also got more than 4 kinds of academic awards, such as Provincial Science Research Award for common colleges, Provincial Natural Science and Technology Award. In the past five years, the disciplinary team was authorized more than 40 science programs such as National Natural Foundation and Provincial Natural Foundation research projects.
本学科拥有青岛市人工智能海洋技术创新中心、数学与交叉科学研究院、数理仿真中心、研究生机房、应用数学研究所和信息与计算科学实验室等科研场所,实验室和研究所总面积达500多平方米,共有200多台微机、多台高端服务器和路由器、配有多媒体教学系统等。实验室和研究所均构架了内部局域网,实验设备先进,为研究生教学和科研提供了良好的条件。
This discipline has a Qingdao Innovation Center of Artificial Intelligence Ocean Technology, Institute of Mathematics and Interdisciplinary Sciences, Mathematical and Physical Simulation Center, a computer room for postgraduate students, an Applied Mathematics Institute and an Information and Computing Science Laboratory. The total area of these laboratories and research institutes is about 500 square meters and has more than 200 computers, many high-end servers and routers, multimedia teaching system. The laboratory and research institutes are all constructed with local network, many advanced laboratory equipment, which provide a good condition for graduate teaching and research.
数学学科的整体目标是建成一个在代数学及其应用、泛函分析应用、智能控制、现代密码学与信息安全、数值计算等方面具有一定影响的学科,努力争取建成具有博士学位授权一级学科的研究生培养体系,推动学校学科整体实力的增长和高层次人才的培养。
The overall goal of mathematics discipline is to construct a discipline which has certain influence in some fields such as Numerical Computation, Intelligent Control, Modern Cryptography and Information Security, Operations and Optimization, strive for forming a postgraduate training system with the Doctorate authorization First-Level Discipline and to promote the increase of the overall strength of the school subjects and the training of high-level talents.
二、培养目标 (Objectives of Training )
1、掌握马克思列宁主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论、“三个代表”重要思想、科学发展观和习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想。树立正确的世界观、人生观、价值观,遵纪守法,热爱祖国,热爱社会主义,具有勇于追求真理和献身于科学教育事业的敬业精神,富有历史责任感,具有良好的道德品质和较高科学素养及创新能力。
Graduate students will master Marxism-Leninism, Mao Zedong Thought, Deng Xiaoping Theory, the important thought of "Three Represents", the scientific outlook on development, and Xi Jinping's Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, set up the correct world outlook, the outlook on life and the values, abide by the laws and regulations, love the motherland, love socialism, have the courage to pursue truth and the devotion to science and education, high historical sense and have the good moral character and high scientific quality and ability of innovation.
2、掌握本专业相关知识的基本理论体系和思想方法,了解本学科目前的进展与动向,具有较扎实的
专业理论基础,具有从事科学研究工作或独立担负专门技术工作的能力,能胜任高等数学教育、基础数学教育、科研和教育管理工作的高级专门人才。
Graduate students should master the basic theory system, thought and method related to the major, understand the current development and trends of the subject. They should also have solid theoretical foundation and the ability of being engaged in scientific research or independent technical expertise. They should be qualified for higher mathematics and basic mathematics teaching, scientific research and education management.
3、掌握一门外语,并能运用该门外语较熟练地阅读本专业的外文资料,具有用外语进行专业研究及
国际学术交流的能力。

四、学制及学习年限 (Educational System and Length of Schooling)
硕士研究生的学制为三年,学习年限最长不超过五年。
The length of study for postgraduates is three years, and the longest period of study is no more than five years.
五、学分要求(Credit Requirement)
研究生总学分应不低于32学分,其中学位课程不低于18学分,研究环节8学分,其余为选修课学分。
The total credits for postgraduates are not less than 32 credits, of which the degree course credits are not less than 18 credits, the research sessions are 8 credits, and the rest are selective course credits.

七、开题报告(Thesis Proposal)
研究生的论文选题应与本学科研究方向内容一致,应紧密结合科学前沿、国民经济和社会发展需要,突出创新性、先进性、必要性和可行性。开题报告工作原则上应在第三学期结束前完成,硕士生应在导师的指导下独立完成开题报告,导师应对研究生开题报告的内容进行审查,经导师同意方可参加学科组举行的开题报告。学位论文选题一旦确定,原则上不再变动。如因特殊原因需要改题者,应由学院学位评定分委员会研究是否需要重新开题,报研究生院备案。具体按照《青岛科技大学研究生学位论文开题报告的要求》执行。
The selected topic of dissertation should be consistent with the research direction of the discipline, and should be fit for scientific frontiers, the needs of national economy and social development. The topic should be innovative, advanced, necessary and feasible. The thesis proposal should be completed before the end of the third semester. Master students should independently complete the opening report under the guidance of the supervisor. The instructor should review the content of the postgraduate opening report, and participate in the opening report held by the subject group with the consent of the supervisor. Once the dissertation topic is determined, it should not be changed in principle. If dissertation topic needs to be changed due to special reasons, the academic degree evaluation sub-committee should determine whether it is necessary to resubmit the proposal and report it to the graduate school. Specifically, it will be implemented 7 in accordance with the "Requirements of Qingdao University of Science and Technology Graduate Dissertation Opening Report".
开题报告通过者获得1学分,不通过者可限期重新开题,仍未通过者不能取得本环节规定学分,终止培养,予以退学。
Those who pass the thesis proposal will get 1 credit. Those who fail to pass the proposal can resubmit the proposal within a time limit, and if they still fail to pass the proposal, they cannot get the required credit, and the training will be terminated and they will be dropped out.
八、中期考核(Mid-period Comprehensive Examination)
中期考核是对硕士研究生入学以来的思想政治表现、课程学习情况、学术素养和学位论文进展情况等各培养环节全面的、综合性的测评。在开题结束后,所有类型的研究生须参加中期考核,中期考核通过者获得1学分,达不到本学科考核要求的,根据具体情况进行延期考核或终止培养。考核结果由学院学位评定分委员会审查后报学院审批备案。
Mid-period examination is a comprehensive evaluation of the ideological and political performance, course learning, academic literacy, and progress of academic dissertations of postgraduates since their admission. After the thesis proposal, all types of postgraduates are required to participate in the mid-period comprehensive examination. Those who pass the Mid-period examination will get 1 credit. If they fail to meet the assessment requirements of this discipline, the assessment will be postponed or the training will be terminated according to the specific situation. The assessment results are reviewed by the college degree evaluation sub-committee and then reported to the college for approval and filing.
九、学术活动(Academic Activities)
研究生在学期间听取学术报告5次,须认真填写《研究生参加学术活动登记本》,并经报告主讲人或报告组织负责人签字认可。活动结束后须递交正文不少于4000字的心得体会报告。
Postgraduates should listen to academic lectures 5 times, and fill in the "Record Book of Graduate Students' Participation in Academic Activities" carefully, and get the signature of the keynote speaker or the responsible person of the report. At the end of the activity, they should submit a report of their experience with no less than 4000 words.
在学期间须做学术报告2次,报告须填写《研究生参加学术活动登记本》。校内报告须张贴海报,并经有关部门确认;国内或国际学术会议上的报告,以会议报告日程安排或大会论文集为依据。
Postgraduates should give academic reports twice, and fill in the "Record Book of Graduate Students' Participation in Academic Activities". Posters are required to be posted and confirmed by relevant departments for school reports. Presentations at domestic or international academic conferences will be based on the conference presentation schedule or conference proceedings.
学术活动环节1学分。

十、学位论文(Dissertation)
学位论文工作是全面培训硕士生树立严谨的科学作风、掌握科学研究的基本方法和培养独立工作能力的重要环节。
Dissertation work is an important link of comprehensive training postgraduates to set up strict scientific style、grasps the basic method of scientific research and cultivating the independent work ability.
学位论文应表明作者在本学科掌握坚实的基础理论和系统的专门知识,具有从事科学研究工作或独立担负专门技术工作的能力;论文的基本论点、结论应具有较高的理论价值或实践意义;论文必须文句通顺、简练、数据可靠、图表清晰,准确地表达研究成果,实事求是地提出结论,引用他人资料或结论必须加以说明;论文应在导师的指导下由研究生独立完成,题目大小要适度,应该是学术前沿中有一定理论意义和创新性的问题,其主要部分应当达到在国内外正式刊物上发表的水平;论文写作格式须符合青岛科技大学学位论文写作基本规范和格式要求。学位论文5学分。
Dissertation should demonstrate that the author has a solid grasp of basic theories and systematic specialized knowledge in the subject, and has the ability to engage in scientific research work or independently undertake specialized technical work. The basic arguments and conclusions of the paper should have high theoretical value or practical significance. The paper must be coherent, concise, with reliable data and clear charts, accurately expressing the research results, presenting conclusions truthfully, and citing information or conclusions from others must be explained. Dissertation should be independently completed by postgraduates under the guidance of a supervisor. The dissertation should be theoretic significance and the innovative questions of the academic front and its main part should be published in the domestic and foreign official publications. The writing format of the dissertation must comply with the basic standards and format requirements of Qingdao University of Science and Technology's degree thesis writing. The credits for dissertation are 5.
十一、论文答辩与学位授予(Thesis Oral Defense and Degree Granting)
硕士研究生完成培养计划规定的课程学习、通过开题、中期考核和不少于 1 年的论文工作后,经导师推荐即可向学院学位评定分委员会提出答辩申请,由学院学位评定分委员会审查其答辩资格,导师就研究生的政治思想、业务水平、学位论文写出评语,由学校组织论文学术不端检测和论文评阅,学院学位评定分委员会组织答辩。
After completing the courses and passing the topic opening, mid-term assessment and not less than one year of thesis work specified in the training plan, postgraduates can submit a defense application to the academic degree evaluation sub-committee upon recommendation by their supervisor. The academic degree evaluation sub-committee will review their defense qualifications, and the supervisor will write comments on the postgraduate's political ideology, professional level, and thesis. The school will organize academic misconduct testing and thesis review, and the academic degree evaluation sub-committee will organize the defense.
硕士研究生在学习期间应发表与学位论文相关的、高水平的学术论文,完成高质量的学位论文,符合《青岛科技大学硕士、博士学位授予工作实施细则(修订)》中的有关规定,并符合《青岛科技大学数理学院数学、统计学硕士学位授予工作实施细则(修订)》对硕士研究生学术论文数量和质量的最低要求,可授予相应学位。
Postgraduates should publish high-level academic papers related to their thesis during their studies, complete high-quality dissertation, comply with the relevant provisions of the "Implementation Rules for the Granting of Master's and Doctoral Degrees at Qingdao University of Science and Technology (Revised)", and meet the academic requirements of “Implementation Rules for Granting Master's Degree in Mathematics and Statistics of Qingdao University of Science and Technology (Revised)”, will be awarded a Master degree.
